Fibromyalgia Diagnosis Test

Before your doctor finalizes your fibromyalgia diagnosis, he or she would subject you to a diagnosis test. The fibromyalgia test would include interviewing you about your medical history and a detailed description of the pain you feel.

It will also be very useful to monitor your pain and aches history as pain lasting for more than three months can be a significant factor in determining you have fibromyalgia. You will also be tested for tender points.

Your doctor will need to put pressure on certain parts of your body and if you have tested 11 positive tender points out of 18, then you can be concluded to have the condition. Being diagnosed with fibromyalgia, you can be given a list of possible treatments and cures.
