Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

 
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia come under the same umbrella of chronic diseases. Chronic fatigue affect the muscles and nerves of the patients body whereas fibromyalgia has the unfortunate symptom of severe pain covering many areas of the body.

Also there are not the same kind of disease, both are linked together because both -tend to suffer the symptoms of extreme tiredness and lack of concentration to name two. In addition both suffer the pain in the body such as spasms, cramps and severe headaches.

Both can also suffer from depression, although through research it has been found to be more severe in patients with fibromyalgia.

Research is till out in finding a cure for fibromyalgia, because the causes have been found to be highly individulized and therefore the treatment is generally different for each sufferer. The treatment for chronic fatigue sydrome generally involves prescribed medications to help with the specific symptoms.
