Early Signs of Fibromyalgia
There are a number of different things that a person may experience, taken in isolation they may not mean anything very much but when three or more of the symptoms are found together then the person may be experiencing some of the early signs of fibromyalgia.
There is an established set of criteria that doctors have agreed constitutes the disabling condition known as fibromyalgia. There is also a considerable body of opinion that believes some signs of fibromyalgia may be detected at an early stage, even in childhood. The condition is more common in females than in males and difficult, painful periods that persist can be seen as one of the early signs of fibromyalgia.
One of the early signs of fibromyalgia is leg cramps and muscle pain that continues and becomes worse over time. Chronic fatigue is a symptom of fibromyalgia and its early signs are someone who tires easily and finds that there energy store has decreased over time ? eventually this leads to the chronic tiredness and fatigue that is common among sufferers of fibromyalgia.
Non-rejuvenating sleep that starts as going to sleep and then getting up as tired as you were when you went to bed is a common factor among fibromyalgia sufferers. Abdominal pain, coupled with bloating and irritable bowel syndrome may also be one of the early signs that someone may be suffering from fibromyalgia. Stiffness on getting out of bed or when a person has been in one position for too long could be symptomatic of a disposition towards fibromyalgia.
Many people suffer from tension headaches and quite a few people suffer from migraine. People who have fibromyalgia experience persistent and painful headaches along with pain in the face and jaw. Fibromyalgia is a debilitating condition and one of the main criteria is chronic pain in a number of different areas of the body. If a person who suffers from migraine or tension headaches on a regular basis, also has some of the other signs already mentioned then they may be exhibiting early signs of fibromyalgia.
Someone who may have the early signs of fibromyalgia may have bladder problems and find themselves urinating a lot more frequently. Chronic pain that has been going on for three months or more along with stiffness and tiredness after any form of exercise are generally taken to be early warning signs that someone is suffering from the early signs of the disabling condition known as fibromyalgia.
